When I play minecraft I get 60-80fps on maximum settings. I can move around with WASD perfectly fine and not lag, but when I turn with my mouse I instantly drop to 1fps. No matter where I am, on the menu or in game I still have the issue. I have removed and reinstalled minecraft, I have removed, reinstalled and updated Java. I have checked all of my drivers. I have removed my overclock on my graphics card. I have removed and reinstalled/updated all of my drivers for everything on my computer. I have done a lot of virus scans with multiple programs. I have no viruses, my computer has no problems. I have defragged and run CCleaner as well. There is nothing wrong with my computer, but I still have the issue. I have switched USB ports suspecting my mouse was in a faulty USB port, still didn't help. I used a different mouse, still didn't help. There is NOTHING wrong with my computer, but I can not play minecraft. Even with optifine installed, gamebooster, and 8GB of pagefile, I still have the issue. And Minecraft is never using anywhere near the amount of RAM I have it set to use, it stays at around 25-30% of RAM usage. This makes no logical sense at all, and whenever I look this up the person's post is unresolved, so please some one help me. Thanks for any help.
EDIT
I have checked if it was f8, that is not the problem. I have used wire mouses, still not the issue. I have lowered my settings and check the txt file, nothing wrong there. Nothing wrong in nvidia control panel either. Forgot to include these points in the original post.
And for reference, system specs:
Intel Pentium 4 Hyperthreaded 3.0GHZ
2GB DDR2 RAM (at most I have 1GB used at any moment, so that is no issue)
Nvidia GeForce GT 630 4GB DDR3 OC 935MHZ (even when I remove OC i still have problem)
Windows XP Media Center Edition, latest SP and .net versions
Creative SB XiFi audio
And just in case:
Keyboard: Logitech k120
Mouse: Logitech M310

Minecraft is not going to use memory that it doesn't need just because you try to stuff it down its throat.
I can't think of any possible causes where fps would dip so much just from mouse movement. How much have you customized the options in minecraft? Do you have advanced openGL turned on? You might try cutting your options.txt file out of the minecraft install and let it regenerate a default options and see if any improvement is noticed.
By any chance you wouldn't have accidentally pressed the F8 key and turned on mouse smoothing?

I have the same problem and I think it has to do with Java, not Minecraft. Everything that requires Java freezes when I move the mouse. I hope someone discovers how to solve this problem. The mouse pad works just fine, though.
My processor usage goes up to 50% when I move my mouse around after I boot up. I have no idea why, and it didnt go away when I reinstalled. I use wired mouse.
It doesnt cause lag on Minecraft however.
Im currently using a wired mouse too but it still has the problem.I'm also curious about what caused this problem to happen.Anyone knows?
Are the people experiencing this on a laptop? Have you tried completely disabling your touchpad and see if that makes a difference? Also you might try to go to your PC manufacturer and see if there is a chipset driver or USB driver update for your system.
My mouse lag started when I was playing with my friend in Minecraft... I have 3 mods, TMI, Zan's minimap and Optifine. I sneaked and I zoomed... Then, it crashed. I've tried to play again, thinking that was not so bad. When I came to my world, I moved the mouse, Bam... I stopped to play Minecraft for a while... Well, I'm trying to find how to fix!

Anyone tried to make a new world in minecraft ? I ask that because someone said his minecraft crashed and when he load the world again it started to mouse lag!
There is no fix for this right now, maybe it will be fixed in the future!

Try using a wired mouse.
In that case, it's the terrain that has a hard time rendering. Either one of these is the problem:

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..

From there click "Manage 3D Settings" then "Program Settings"
2. Press "Add" and add Minecraft.exe (which should generally be on your desktop)
3. Once you've selected "minecraft.exe", scroll down the feature list until you see "Triple Buffering", click it and turn it "On"
Then, press the option below titled "Vertical sync", press that and turn it to "Force on"
Finally, press "apply"
Tried it multiple times..Doesn't work. D:
Play Minecraft Again. Record your average FPS by pressing F3 and you'll find fps back there.
Quote me your Average.
When not moving mouse:120-100
When moving mouse:20-0
Nah, if it's that consistent it must have something to do with how your system is handling the device input.
