I just bought Minecraft (yay!) a few minutes ago, I get the email to download the game for windows and it opens up a launcher, Once I enter my log in information it says login failed not downloaded. Suggestions?

That's normal, it's bound to the Mojang accounts thing, so you log in with your mojang account username, AKA your email.
