HELP!?!? My minecraft wont let me log in online even though ive got good internet. Ive been playing offline for the past month. the weird thing I noticed was that my skin randomly changed. I don't know whats going on! Why wont my Minecraft let me log in. If you have any answers leave a message plz! I don't want to rebuy minecraft?
Sounds like your account security has probably been compromised, like someone got your password, changed it on you and changed your skin too.
You should probably run a virus scan to see if you've got any keyloggers on your computer and if not, then someone probably brute-forced your password. Try to make use of strong passwords that are hard to guess (with a combination of lower case and capital letters and numbers).
Have you tried resetting your password via minecraft.net's "I forgot my password" option? Assuming you still have access to the email still attached to your MC account? If you can you should do that to change your password and regain control of your account.
If you can't, you'll have to visit this page: http://help.mojang.c...rtal/emails/new and fill out the form in hopes that Mojang's customer support can help you.
As an extra precautionary measure, you should probably also migrate your MC account if you haven't already since then you'll log in with your email rather than your username and that makes it harder for hackers to gain access.
I hope you're able to get your account back again. Good luck.
I'm afraid that I don't know any good, free anti-virus programs.
Try this though: http://www.malwarebytes.org/ It has a free version and is pretty good at catching stuff.
But for your future, you should have good antivirus, such as 'Kasper' or something like that, and don't receive files on skype from strangers you just met, (if you have skype), because they can troll you, and actually send you virus, dangerous virus, like 'Trojan'.
My minecraft was hacked by that virus, and all other social accounts. So be aware of that, and set a good password for your minecraft account.
Good luck.
Okay I installed AVG internet security would that work well? please reply
You could try it.
I had AVG 2013, wasn't bad though.
But sometimes, some antiviruses can't handle STRONG viruses.
So just scan your computer every 1 week or 1 month, and enjoy your game till there are no viruses.
You're not supposed to have viruses, unless you download random things from internet that you don't actually know.
Or accept different files that may interest you that you don't actually know.
For example 'Classic hacks v1.2.2', which was actually Trojan that I accepted.
