This should be saying 1.5 or 1.4.7, unless you haven't updated for a while. That might be causing the issue.

This is strange, as far as I can tell. It's usually "Most likely" or "Probably not".

All I can say is try force updating, and if that doesn't work, try redownloading Minecraft.
