I have no mods or anything installed.
Am using the default launcher and there is no error log at all.
THe screen honestly just stays black. Will try deleting meta-inf and get back to you on that.
I've only just noticed but it seems to only create the following items upon force updating:
Bin (With Everything Inside), lastlogin and output-client.log. There are no other files or folders in my .minecraft folder...I can't share lastlogin for obvious reasons (Even if it IS encrypted) and the log file is empty.
Someone yesterday was complaining in the recent updates forum that 1.5 no longer was compatible with OSX 10.5 According to him the problem is that 1.5 needs a higher OpenGL support than 1.2 however the only drivers available for the older OS don't support a higher OpenGL.
I'm not familiar at all with Mac OS versions and how they work so maybe you're in the same boat? I always hear animal names attached to the newer ones. If updating your drivers doesn't help then perhaps it's time to upgrade.

Curse PremiumIt gets to the done loading screen and then goes black, it never gets to "Mojang"
After that it just stays at the black screen, doesn't give a crash report, doesn't freeze up my screen. Using a the newest 13" i7 Macbook Pro.
