Most people consider minecraft to be "Unplayable" When the FPS drops below 10, my minecraft gets about 5-8 FPS with all settings adjusted for best performance, including a render distance of "Tiny" Optifine doesn't help,
and me posting this tells you that I can't afford a new computer, so please don't suggest that.
Does anyone know of a alternative way to raise FPS?

You could try scanning with Malwarebytes, closing everything you don't need, but at most this will gain you 5 more FPS. Unfortunately, this is probably the only thing left to do.
Try CCleaner, it deletes unnecessary things on your computer, like internet cookies, and other fancy stuffz :3 This tool won't help a whole ton to increase fps, but hey, you should give it a try anyways
Ok, so I used CCleaner, and I literally gained 20 FPS, With the voids wrath mod pack installed, and while in the nether.
