My friend and I recently started playing with Skyblock. I tried hosting first but he was unable to break blocks for an extended amount of time assuming it was lag he decided to host. We noticed right away that we were having a problem. When ever we tried to pour our lava the bucket would empty but we had no visible lava. Right clicking the area would again fill the bucket however. He opened the map up in mcedit and added the lava into the block we needed it and we went on. Things were fine until we decided it was time to make out infinite water source. Now we are having the same problem picking up our water. The source block disappears and for a second the bucket appears full but it almost immediately goes empty again. Right clicking will however will make the source block visible again. Attempting to place it anywhere other than where it was to start with gets nothing however. I have checked to make sure that the problem wasn't with the map download by hosting my own server with the same files and it works fine. He has tested other servers being ran in the same way from his computer with no problem. Has anyone had this problem before or have any suggestions as to what might be causing the problem? He is hosting through hamachi but there are no plug ins on the server. Any help is much appreciated.
