So the other day, I go and start up Minecraft as usual and I notice that i have a severe drop in frames per second or fps. My computer used to comfortably handle the game at a steady 185-200 fps, but now i get 30 to around 35. I tried all the video settings by reducing the render distance and all that, but it didn't seem to work. The only time i seemed to get results was when i created a superflat world. Please Help!
Have you changed any settings or installed any new drivers or software, and perhaps even updated via Windows Update? It might be worth checking all of your video card settings.
Make sure that the video card, either AMD/ATI or NVIDIA is set to the default video card in their respective control panels.
