Okay, so it is glitching out majorly, when I create a new world, I am spawning inside of blocks and cannot move, and sometimes the world doesn't even load... help please? also, where can I download java 64 bit so I can use the 'far' view.

As notch said. Minecraft will not be compatible for Windows 8.

If you have java 64 already, you're good to go. If not, type it in google or look on the java website for it.

I have the problem too about moving. I you have a laptop, thats why. I recommend using a mouse (Not the touch board thing on the laptop).
