Minecraft Forums

So I just bought and downloaded Minecraft and its client today, and there is immidiately a problem. I'm open up the client, and attempt to log in with the usual account information necessary, and it gives me an error message saying "Log in failed" and under the play offline button (which is unclickable) it says "Not downloaded". Re-downloading the client multiple times hasn't done anything.
