First, I am a very big novice, trying to fix the world my daughter created. From the reading that I have done I gather that I need to force an update, but i do not find the button to do that under the options menu. Also read that I should save my saves first, not exactly sure what that means. No mods are installed that we are aware of, just the basic mindcraft. Any help would be appreciated - Thanks. Here is the complete error:

Update your Java and force updating is fairly simple.

Saving your saves means that before you force update you should backup the saves folder in "C:\Users\"yournamehere"\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft" so you can restore them just in case they become corrupted in the proccess

Please post specs for your machine. Or a DXDIag would be awesome
