I've seen other threads with people having thisexact same problem, but I've tried other people's solutions to it and it doesn't work....or I was doing it wrong.
I already know this:
1. I run/walk/jump/place blocks/mine blocks almost 2 to 3 times as fast as a normal player would.
2. It's not lag.
3. It has to do with the affinity of javaw.exe
I went to the task manager, changed it so that only 1 of my two CPUs is used for javaw.exe
The main problem is that it resets every single time I start playing Minecraft
Does anyone know how to make it use only one CPU permanently so I don't have to change the affinity every single time?
That is odd, the game is programmed to only use one core, and at most it will use 2 with the use of Optifine. Can you describe how you're moving twice/thrice as fast? I do not understand that part.

Basically, when I'm moving normally, it seems like I'm sprinting, but without the double tap W thing.
I already know that it has to do with the affinity through the task manager, not the controls because I fixed it by changing the affinity to only 1 CPU.
Still no help? It keeps resetting the affinity whenever I start Minecraft. EVERYTHING is faster. I keep resetting it to only one core on my dual core CPU but it resets to both cores the next time I start the game. The affinity is set for both cores on basically all of the programs I use, including my web browser (Chrome) but there are only problems with Minecraft!

Retired StaffMight be a controls issue? Try updating LWJGL.
