First of all, let me start off by saying that this might not be the right section for this (and I know, being a newb at this isn't a excuse, but I'll still use it.).
Anyway, my problem is that me, my sister, and her friend wan't to get on a LAN world. The two of them can get on fine, but it always says "connection refused" or "timed out". I am using windows 7, and so is my sister. Her friend is using WinXP, and we are all on 1.4.7. I would really like to get this to work, as we have some pretty cool stuff on that world.

Only people connected to your home network will be able to connect.
If you wan't people outside of your house to join, you have to setup an actual server with this software.
