Hello all. I was wondering whats causing minecraft too run so slowly on my laptop. Usually it boots up normally then after about 5-10 mins it starts to lag. I have 3 worlds. Laptop specs are as follows: HP Compaq 14.1" Laptop - Black (Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 /80GB HDD/2GB RAM/Windows 7. ATI RADEON X2300 GRAPHICS CARD.
Any help on what to do is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Well first of all its a core2duo a old processor then only 2gb of ram and an old ati graphics card so it will not be the best for minecraft as it is cpu and ram intensive which you don't have much of. (sorry if this sounded offensive its only the truth)

You may wan't to try using a mod, OptiFine.
