I am not able to get the game to load at all. I When i launch the launcher the java app loads and it bogs my system down very bad. when it filly allocated the 250 megs of memory I am able to react with minecraft. I can move the window and nothing else. I cannot click the user name or pass word button. if I put a window of the launcher it turns black when I pull it forward. all I can do is close the window. So far i have reinstalled java several times. and I have tried downloading the minecraft file from the website. I am at a lost as to what to do now. Any help is and will be appreciated.
I didn't do a very good job of explaining something. java process hits 250 mb of memory then staballizes and I am able to react again. I have a decently built machine. Mine craft should have no issues running multiple times. Now for the wall of infor

Looks like you're running a crossfire dual card setup correct? A couple things you can try, first is to setup a profile for minecraft and make sure it is set to use application settings or however catalyst words it. This will do two things, it will make sure minecraft is running on your 6900's and not your integrated graphics and will be launching with settings that minecraft/java likes. If that doesn't work another thing you can try is to change the profile to run minecraft on only one card instead of crossfire and see if minecraft works that way.

Retired StaffDo you have the launcher on your desktop? Try right clicking the launcher and telling it to run as admin.
Other thing to look at is your antivirus & firewall. Try putting exceptions in them for java.
