My minecraft has not been working for a few months now. when i try to run the downloaded minecraft.exe file i got straight from the site (i paid for it, it is not a cracked version) it just crashes and nothing happens. i do not have a .minecraft folder becuase i deleted it when i uninstalled minecraft. now i just cannot seem to get it running again! please help me! i can't live withot this game!

If you already deleted your .minecraft folder then it sounds like you've got nothing to loose. Try deleting any minecraft related file on your computer and re downloading it from minecraft.net. Since it sounds like your .exe is broken. Once you download the new launcher, a new .minecraft file should be created automatically.
