I get this glitch every time I open MC since 2 days ago. And before you say to update the drivers, I have the most recent drivers. My drivers are: Intel (R) G33/G31 Express Chip Set Family. What do I do?
you say your drivers are updated, is that according to windows update, or here? http://downloadcente...t.aspx?lang=eng
what os are you running?
if windows 8 then you need to make sure its using the intel drivers and not the default rubbish drivers windows has built in
can you either supply us with the error log created when the game crashes, or do the advanced minecraft error test linked in my sig
I have a dell inspiron 1545 laptop with mobile intel 4 series express chipset family and got the same message. I spent hours on the internet looking at all the fixes. The fix that worked for me was to download the updated driver from INTEL's site. THEY have the updated drivers for these integrated intel chipsets. When you try to update using windows update, it just tells you that you have the current driver. When I went to Intell's site I had it scan my computer for updated drivers. It came up with a list and the video drivers were first on the list so I downloaded and installed them and it fixed the problem. I hope this works for everyone else.

I downloaded the update, but it still doesn't work.
Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

Try turning down your hardware acceleration. Right click desktop>properties>'settings' tab>advanced>'troubleshoot' tab>slide the hardware acceleration slider down to about half then try to launch minecraft.
