I was trying to downgrade to and indev version of minecraft using mcnastal or whatever its called and it said it cannot patch my minecraft because the md5's are not vannila i know what a md5 is and the simple soultions are so i checked the md5 number and it didnt match the vannila md's so i deleted my .minecraft folder and redownloaed it by using the launcher i tryed downgradeing again and it said the md5's still were not vannila i checked and it was right the md5 still wasent vannila
Please keep in mind i HAVE tryed force updateing i HAVE tryed deleted the bin folder and i HAVE try deleteing .minecraft i came here for a more detailed explantion on how to fix this after getting fustrated with other simple reponses such as did you try deleting your bin or did you try getting a new mcnastal those were the frist things it tryed
Downgrading
I am aware of the legal stance of distrbuiting jars and how you cannot do it. but is there some other way with out using 3rd party tools to legealy downgrade minecraft?
