A couple months ago, I lost my main survival worlds on one of my laptops, which runs on Windows Vista. I cant find any useful programs or ways to find a previous version of minecraft that dates that far back. Can anyone give me some help on how I could get the world saves back, and since I don't play minecraft much on this computer anymore I don't care if I lose any of my newer worlds.
You can rollback the minecraft version using this.
As for the worlds i don't think there's a way to do that, or at least i don't know of any way to do that.

You can restore the file if you still have the .minecraft directory in a system restore point.
Right click on one of the folders in .minecraft, and select properties.
Then go to the previous versions tab, and pick one of the older versions, then hit restore.
It should restore the entire directory to the selected backup.
