Hi all, I would like detailed and easy to understand instructions on how to uninstall and reinstall minecraft on a mac. The reason I would like to do this because of an annoying bug that that causes me to not to be able to delete certin worlds. I have many worlds saved on singleplayer and with hardrive space almost full this problem has made singleplayer almost unplayabe due to lag. I do not care about saving any of my current worlds. I have never downloaded a mod and am running vanilla 1.4.7. Thanks in advance for answers. I'm sorry if this is on the wrong section for I am new to the fourms.

Open up minecraft, go into texture packs; open texture pack folder, go up a directory, then once more, and close minecraft.

You should be in "Application Support", now find "minecraft" folder and move it into the trash.

Then what about reinstall just relaunch minecraft correct?

simply delete the folder and reinstall, simple as that.

Sorry i'm a noob, how do I reinstall the folder?

When you login with your client, it will auto download necessary files.
