Hey. I haven't played Minecraft in over a month. When I got on, the launcher worked, then I got a black screen for a few seconds, followed by the "bad video card" driver error message.
My question is how do I follow this video: ---- under my unusual circumstance:
Before my month long absence, Minecraft worked on my PC Vista 32-bit. During my absence, I updated to Windows 8. Now, my Vista 32-bit hardware runs Windows 8 fine, but as expected, Minecraft fails.
If you look at the video (the first minute) it has you go on your PC manufacturer's site, find your model, and pick your operating system then choose a driver to download. When I do this, Dell only lists Windows Vista 32-bit. So, do I choose that driver assuming the Vista one will work on windows 8??? Remember my hardware is built for Vista. Or if that will make things worse what should I do?
If you have an Intel driver then basically intel did not launch a driver for windows 8 that supports OpenGL
I Downloaded a RoyalBNA Driver and it works fine http://teknogods.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=8283
