i need help to play minecraft single player do i need internet if so plz tell me a good modem that has build in wifi cause i have a verizon 6100G and a belking .2a and i use belking wifi.Also is it cause of HP family Graphic card that minecraft is not going well cause i have a 8GB dd3 and 3.0ghz.plz help

This is in the wrong section.. But to answer your question you need internet to login to your minecraft account in order to play the game but to play single player i dont think you need internet.

You need to use the internet to download the files, but you can run them fine in Offline Mode if you're okay with not having a skin.

No you don't need it if you have already downloaded all the files that you need.
