Hi guys,
I have been having some trouble with Minecraft. I recently brought a new desktop computer upgrading from my laptop. Gaming in general improved for me fps wise but in Minecraft I am having a really annoying graphical problem. Weird texture triangular shapes appear on my screen all the time, they flicker around and it is really starting to annoy me. I have tried updating my graphics drivers and searched the internet endlessly for an answer but I can't find one.
Here are some pictures of the issue, these screenshots are how I worked out that it isn't my monitor causing the problem.
I am really starting to get annoyed and upset over this as I don't see myself getting a new computer for quite a while.
My specifications Thanks so much for taking the time to read this post, this forum is seriously my last hope.
Check the Anisotropic Filtering (AF) settings in your graphics card control panel.
It should be set to off or use application settings.
Also make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, from the manufacturers site. (intel, nvidia or amd)
Using windows update/device manager doesn't get the proper drivers for graphics cards.
Thanks for this, I have checked the control panel and my Anisotopic Filtering settings are as you stated already. I am having a go at updating my drivers to the beta builds on the AMD websites, I will post any updates here.
Thanks for the help.
Update: Nothing seems to have worked, I have tried updating my drivers and made sure Anisotropic Filtering settings are as you said but nothing has changed.

Thanks for trying to help, none of the above suggestions have worked and the glitch remains. I guess I am going to have to go about trying to find a better graphics card.

Retired StaffYou could also try updating LWJGL
Tutorial/Instructions: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/LWJGL
You should also check that the AA is set the same as AF.
You're not using optifine are you?
It likely won't fix the issue, but make sure your running on Java 64bit.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
