I recently upgraded from an older gaming PC with windows xp on it to a newer, better one with windows 7. However, upon playing Minecraft, i discovered that only certain sounds appear to be working for me. I only hear sound when a block breaks or is placed. No sound from anything else. Also, after a few minutes of playing, my game, which was running perfectly until then, dropd to like 1 fps and crashes, and restarting the game just resets the timer. Please, help me with these two bugs, they're ruining my Minecraft! DX
EDIT: The sound issue has been resolved, and I haven't crashed lately, but in case it happens again, i'm wondering if anyone knows how to solve it/ what caused it?
