Has that world ever crashed before? Crashing/closing the client mid session can often end up in world corruption. Another common cause for world issues lately are jukeboxes with disks in them.
Do you use optifine or any 3rd party launchers like MultiMC? Have you ever ran the world with mods installed?
I have never added a mod, no launchers, and it really has never crashed. This happened out of the blue on creative mode. I've been on this world a lot, it isn't a new world at all. I thought it was a simple error, but I haven't been able to get on that world for about a week now.
Since you say it's creative. Had you messed around with jukeboxes or did you have any jukeboxes that may have still had records in them? If so then most likely your fix is to get a world editor (for example MCedit) and open your world in it and remove any jukeboxes. Also look around in the area where you character is in the editor for corrupt chunks. You may have to select the chunk and delete it and regenerate it to make the world stable again.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
Try force updating minecraft, and running the map on a local server.
