Okay.
I currently bring a laptop to school, and in my free time, I like to work on my Minecraft mod. However my laptop isn't the greatest. Heck, I'm not complaining, since I got it for free. So Minecraft doesn't run on it. Every time I try it, I get the gosh darned 'org.lwjgl.LWJFLException: Pixel format not accelerated' error.
Anyway, I've installed the latest version of Java, downloaded the latest version of minecraft.
I'm running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3
I have a Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T5500 @ 1.66GHz
980 MHz, 1.49 GB RAM
(Copied from the General tab in System Properties)
In the 'Display adapters' section, I have two 'Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family'. Yeah, two. I don't know why... :/
The driver version for both is 6.14.10.4860, and the Driver Date is 9/08/2007.
I tried installing some updated drivers, but it turns out it was the wrong one, it was meant for 945GM or something like that, I can't remeber.
So yeah, is it possible, at all, to get Minecraft working on my Laptop? I want to work on my Minecraft mod, however it's a bit hard when you can't even test it out.
If it's not possible, then I guess I'll just have to do my programming at home.
Thanks, if you need any more info, ask and I'll give.
Never Mind. Got it working.

Choose Properties
Choose Settings
Click Advanced
Click Troubleshoot
And then Set 'Hardware acceleration' to something less than half (notch 1,2 or 3)
