I've downloaded minecraft, but its says that I haven't. I looked at the minecraft folder and there was nothing in it, so i deleted it and redownloaded minecraft. After I downloaded it I checked the folder again and still nothing.
*You* cannot download minecraft.
The only thing you can download is the *launcher*.
The launcher actually downloads minecraft when you run it, and log in while connected to the internet.
1. Download the minecraft launcher from the official site.
2. Log in to your premium account
3. Let it auto download.
4. Done.
If you get problems with the download please post your debug log that you get while the launcher is trying to download the Minecraft folders and files. Don't forget to try Options > Force Update first though.
