I bought Minecraft about a week and a half ago and currently I have only had problems running it on my build. I have no mods running on the client, I have properly flashed the motherboard bios, installed the respective video-card drivers even updating to the newest Nvidia drivers, but only to find out that it made the game even more unstable, I can get barely 3 minutes of the game staying on before it crashes my display drivers and either gives an OpenGL error code: 8 or just makes the drivers totally crash in general. Please note that I can play any high-end game (BF3, Skyrim, Arma 2:OA,etc. All on Max Settings) without any problems and that I am running x64 Java with the newest update. I have tried anything from registry edits to changing drivers countless times with no avail. If anyone has any suggestions past this point I would be quite grateful to hear any of them. Thank You.
