I'm having an issue with color coding signs. When I look directly at a sign, colors don't show. All text appears black. I have to look at the sign at an angle for colors to show up. I tried to find a fix for this on google, but it doesn't seem like anyone else has had this problem.

Might be somesort of bug where the hitbox overlays the colors causing them to appear black. You can try force update but you might found a bug Mojang needs to look at.
This seems to only happen on Lion, because I also have a Snow Leopard and it's been working fine on that. Also, force update didn't work.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
