I cant move and i am stuck. I can exit the window by opening dashboard (im on a mac) and then i can continue to move until i stop. Once I stop i can't move unless i leave the window again. I jump if i hold the spacebar, and i can use esc if i hold it. WASD just does not work. I can click and use my mouse fine, just not the keyboard. Anyone with the same problem or a fix?

Try using /kill to force respawn.

It would be really helpful if you could be more descriptive and provide screenshots.
