I run a small creative server for my friends and I, and on occasion, use MCEdit to make any large scale edits that need to be done. Just now I did this but forgot to turn the server off first and now the server window has the error: "The save is being accessed from another location, aborting."
The last time this happened a while back, if I restarted the server then all progress was lost since the last time the server had been shut down. Needless to say if it happens this time, a lot of work will be lost. Can anyone help me figure out how to get it to save and work normally again?
edit: In theory, could I reopen the server map in MCEdit, close the server, save the map, and restart the server?
