Hey there.
I bought minecraft last year and had played it for about 6 months.
Today I go to start it up and it LAGS my computer. windows that are open start to flash every few seconds. I have to ctrl alt del to get the tsk manager and even then it lags 20 seconds b4 anything happens.
I uninstalled then installed the newest Java and the minecraft exe again
still LAGS, the mouse take 30 seconds to move from one side of the screen to the other.
Please help as I have no idea why this only happen for Minecraft
Now b4 anyone trolls and say I dont have the machine to run this, here is my computer.
Case: CoolerMaster Haf X
CPU: AMD 8150 Water block EK Full Copper
MB : ASUS Crosshair V Formula Water block EK Crosshair
GPU: 2X EVGA 480 Water block Danger Den
Ram: Gskill G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB
Rad: Phobya G-Changer 360
SSD:G.SKILL Phoenix Pro Series FM-25S2S-240
HD : Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB
PS : CORSAIR Professional Series Gold AX1200
Reservoir: Zalman Reserator 1 v2
Idle temp 23C
Load Temp 34-40C
Try this:
1. Go to control panel and search for Java
2. Click it and go to the Java tab, then on view
3. Under runtime paramet.., enter the following code: -Xincgc -Xmx****M (Change the stars with how many mb of RAM you want to put in) 4. Press OK and Apply.
No sir that did not work.
My computer become unresponcive and took 2-3 mins to bring up task manager.
I have NO problems running this game on Win Xp.
I am I missing something? is there a different exe or install I'm missing?
