So basically to play minecraft the launcher tells me i need a java runtime environment of 1.5.0, so then it sends me here http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp I go there and try to download it everything goes well until the end and it says it was interrupted before the wizard can fulyl install it.
try to get one of these... but before you download it use a firefox browser (if using firefox then use IE).. before install restart your computer then try to install the proper java. also. what are your system specs? ok now if that install still gives you an error while downloading make sure youre an admin while doing it. if yur already are then create a new user for your computer login and go to the site and download java that way. can you go into a command promtp type in java -version and post the return?
Try to reinstall Java and restart your computer.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
the earth first! we can strip mine the rest of the universe after. click the up arrow if i helped.
In your add remove programs remove any java installs that show there.
Then try to download Java from this location and see if your download completes:
32bit Java if your windows7 is 32bit
64bit Java if your windows7 is 64bit
