Avast Antivirus calling out pixel URL issue in MC.exe

Each time I boot up Minecraft via the downloaded windows exe. I get a virus warning for a malicious pixel url. Please see below.

Why is this pixel url included in the exe? I guess for tracking? I don't want to "allow" this exception until I know its purpose or safety.

Please advise,
