I have had Minecraft for quite a while, and it has never run very well. I have a Windows 8 computer with 6 gigs of ram and plenty of hard drive space. I have integrated graphics, 64 bit. I never get over 30 fps on moderate settings, which is frustrating. I have a friend that has a very similar pc and he runs it flawlessly. I have scanned for viruses and everything, used mods and unparked my cores, and still little to no increase in fps. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm willing to do almost anything at this point.
It's your integrated graphics. If you can, get a graphics card that's less than 4 years old.

Is it a Dell Inspiron 5100 series thing?
My friend has one but it has a good Nvidia card but you can get one with just the i5's integrated graphics.
Actually, I did some research earlier, it turns out my computer does not support graphics card. I did not realize this when I bought it.
