It's been around since the start of 1.4 (Final Version)
I'm talking about the LAN bug.
No LAN world CURRENTLY (atleast to my knowledge) is working properly on it's own. What I mean by this is whenever you try to start a LAN world (all 5 of you out there, including me) it will usually pop up like 0.0.0.0:65473 or something like that. Which is a problem. A very big one at that.
Now Jeb, JENS, said he was working on this but there are some ways to get around this. I myself trying a couple but they are all VERY complicated and long. Sooooooo I was hoping some of you could give me some tips to troubleshoot this problem.
If you have any trouble with LAN worlds it is not related to the message saying "0.0.0.0:xxxxx" but is related to security settings / firewall blocking some of Minecraft's packets.

Or alternatively you may trying hosting the LAN world from another computer network.
It will be displayed on computers connecting to your world as (IP address here):(port number here), eg 192.168.5.3:56326
Lan worlds have worked like this since about 1.4.2 I think.
I'm just saying let's remove all the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out.
