Can't find my minecraft folder on my Mac

I know this is has been asked a million times, but I have found the user library also, but the .minecraft folder is still not in there.

I have deleted minecraft and started over but it simply just does not appear,

Please help this is very annoying!

I have not yet purchased the game, is it not showing up because i have not purchased the game yet?

You need to buy the game to download the files that fill the .minecraft folder
