Ok i have always had a problem with being around large areas of lava. Any time i get near lava i get a studdering lag spike for 10-30 seconds frame rates going from 2FPS to 300+FPS then settles down. Does the same stuttering lag again when i walk away from the area then settles to normal again.
Today i decided to force update and mess with settings and as soon as i turned the sound OFF in game there was NO more lag near lava at ALL.
Tried deleting the lava.ogg files but they keep getting downloaded, any way to get rid of them? Hate to turn the sound completely off when its only lava sound that make my game unplayable..

You can't delete the file, but you can replace it with a silent .ogg file of the same name.
You might try updating your lwjgl version to the stable 2.8.4 build and see if that helps.

That fixed the sound lag but now if i try to click my mouse while running i will stop running and have to hit W key again to continue running. This will cause problems when fighting (pvp and monsters).

Fixed my issue! I updated to 2.8.5 but only updated the jinput and lwjgl_util files. The lwjgl.jar and dll was the issue with the mouse + movement so i reverted those files back to default and everything works. No more lava sound lag or mob sound lag!

Excellent! I like your adaptability and understanding of how the lwjgl library works.

I have an ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS AM3+ AMD 760G
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131795
It has a built in audio card which i use a Microsoft Livechat LX-3000Headset (USB).
Unimportant info but will state just in case.
AMD FX6100 CPU
GTX560 EVGA Video card
Why is it this is happening?

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
