Hey I run a mac and I was about to play minecraft when I opened it up and there was a black screen. I had no mods whatsoever and I tried to fix it by even going to the extent of deleting every single trace of minecraft from my computer and redownloading. It still doesn't work. I need urgent help please.

Yeah, it was working perfectly, and I downloaded optifine and sonic ethers, but It didn't work so I uninstalled the mods and force updates, and I got here.

Hmmm....and you deleted everything that's Minecraft data related? I'm not really sure, sorry. I don't see anything that should be wrong. Is Java fully updated?
