Ok, so I've been trying various adventure maps, most of them by bodil40, including Epic Jump Map Sprint, Operation: Recovery of the Sacred Cake, and various others, but whenever I try activating LAN in these various maps, the first few digits are always zeros, and nobody can connect to me.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or what I need to do?
Because of the way Minecraft determines your local IP address, it's not always accurate.
Open command prompt, type 'ipconfig | findstr IPv4', and it should give you your local IP. From there, append the port that Minecraft generates (:12345, or whatever port), and have people connect to that.
