i need help i cant figure out how to take my old minecraft from 1 computer and put it to another computer and yet have minecraft have the same data as the od one on the new one(this is on a mac) ? i need help please
You copy the .minecraft folder or just the saves folder inside .minecraft. Put it on a usb/sd or just on a network, go on the other computer, use the network/Sd card/usb to extract the files and put it in the .minecraft folder on that computer.
Thanks guys. I forgot to mention I am using a Mac and going to another Mac. I did, however, copy the entire minecraft folder from within Appication support under library and copy it to the same location on the second one. I also moved the minecraft launcher and put it under applications on the new Mac. Minecraft runs no problem, but none of my data is there. I tried to fore update and still noc hange. If I go into the library/application support/minecraft/bin/saves folder my worlds are indeed shoiwng up, but it's like the game is not seeing them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
