Okay so, my computer has been giving me this problem for a while but i've tried enough YouTube recommendations to fix this.
1) Launch Minecraft
2) Sign in
3) Black Screen for about 5 seconds
4) Minecraft window disappears
5) Random text file pops up called hs_err_pid with four numbers behind it
6) NO MINECRAFT :'(
I'm tired of this because I haven't played since June of 2012 and I may not be able to for a while...
I have a desktop. Windows Vista 32-bit. My graphics card is called "ATI RADEON XPRESS 1100". I have the latest java. I have 1 GB of RAM. I have no idea what the problem can be with all of the possibilities above^. I only play one other PC Game but it takes up quite some space and I'm not sure that if I remove it, that Minecraft will work but, I am willing to remove it. I definitely do not want to delete all my Minecraft worlds but if I must, I will. I don't have any "bad video card" errors and never did.

I think the problem is likely your legacy integrated graphics causing issues. First thing I would try is to create a bat script to launch minecraft with less ram. You can follow this tutorial and just use java -Xmx512M -Xms512M -jar "Minecraft.exe" as your script.
Another thing you can try is to turn down hardware acceleration:
Click Start / Control Panel /
Appearance and Personalization.
Under Personalization, click 'Adjust screen resolution'.
On the Display Settings dialog, click the 'Advanced Settings...' button.
On the monitor properties dialog, click the Troubleshoot tab.
Click the Change settings button.
On the security dialog, click Continue.
Move the Hardware Acceleration slider down to one of the middle notches.
Click OK
(may need to restart your PC for setting to fully take effect, not sure)
