I have been having this problem for awhile now and it is REALLY getting on my nerves. I restart my PC, and then Minecraft will let me on a server ONCE. After I get on a server for once, and log off it, I can't have access to any others. Then if I try and close Minecraft and try to start it up, but it can't connect to minecraft.net! I've tried accessing Minecraft via minecraft.net in the browser mode. The screen doesn't show up at all. Please comment back with the best you can come up with.
When ever this problem occurs, check at www.help.mojang.com to see the server uptime. Most of the 'can't connect to minecraft.net' issues are Mojangs servers playing up.
If the servers are fine Mojang end, it's got to be a problem on the computer.
The most common issue, is Anti Virus and Firewall.
This is a pretty old thread, so I'll first ask, can you connect now?
After I reset my router, it started working again, but now it's kept acting up and when I reset my router it keeps saying "Can't connect to minecraft.net" unless I reset my computer. And even when I reset my computer it still doesn't work.

Retired StaffIf the servers are fine Mojang end, it's got to be a problem on the computer.
The most common issue, is Anti Virus and Firewall.
