Hi. I'm new to minecraft, just bought the game a few days ago. I created a world and made quite a lot of progress in it, making a couple large towers and a little farm and such. Though I hadn't even been playing the game for 24 hours. and then suddenly while playing, the game acts funny. I can't pick up any items and whenever I destroy a block, it would reappear. so I restarted the game to see if that would work. Since then the world would just stay on the loading screen for about a minute, then go back to the start menu without loading it up. a couple times it did load after a while, but the world was all black, except for the sky.So I couldn't do a thing.
I don't understand. It's not my computer I don't think. it seems to have all the requirements needed to run the game, that and my demo world I had before buying the game works fine. and I also started a new world, it seems to be fine so far.
But I really like that first world I started, even though it was for a short time, I did a lot on it. and it is my first actual world, so yeah it's rather sentimental. I would very much like not to lose it, and to be able to play it again.
Please if anyone knows a solution, it would be a big help. Thanks.
Try making a new world.
Give us the world download. If it failed on my end, then it's the world.
In that case, the save could be corrupt somehow, which I can look into.
There's also a non-zero chance that MC would crash given that seed and the specific chunk you're loading.
I did try making a new world, everything was all shaking like there was an earthquake. but when I restarted it it loaded just fine. (though that shakiness happened with another seed I made, not sure if that's a common glitch for people or not.)

Also were you doing anything or running any other applications outside of Minecraft at the time of the problem.
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 4200
Hard Drive Type: SATA
Hard Drive Size: 1TB
Memory: 4GB
The only things I had open while playing was Windows Live Messenger and my internet browser, so idk.
