Strange grid patterns in my minecraft

I just bought a new pc and it was put together yesterday. However, there seems to be these weird grid marks when I look into the distance. I've also noticed the water turns a purplish color when I look into the distance. Changing my view settings does not change it. It seems like a draw distance issue but I cannot find any errors with my pc.

Turn off AF and AA in your video card control panel.

(Or set them to 'use application settings')
