my minecraft lately has been lagging really bad i dnt know why.
i used to be able to play no problem then all of a sudden BOOM!! no minecraft for me! :'(
my minecraft used to run about 60-90 FPS and didnt really go any lower.
but know it will randomly drop to about 12 FPS, the lowest one iv had one 0 FPS i froze up..

P.S. iv lowered all my graphics on minecraft, iv scanned for viruses, cleaned my computer analysed
amd defraged it lol. nothing helps though... its on both sp and smp..

try allocating more ram or installing optifine to improve performance (lower render distance, play on lower graphics etc.)
Is this on SP, SMP, or both?

Install Java 64-bit http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Update the Java game library: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Tutorials/Update_LWJGL

If you use an Nvidia card go to 'manage 3d settings' and turn off Threaded Optimization.

Launch minecraft via 'Magic Launcher' and on the advance tab make sure the java folder is not 'x86' and set memory to a lower value of 512 or 768. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/939149-launcher-magic-launcher-100-mods-options-news/

Clean your PC with CCleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner and defrag Disk. Check for viruses in safe mode as well.

Play with that and see if it helps, good luck!
