Im having this problem on the mac, I cant update or force update it. It keeps on popping up "Fatal Error Occurred (4): /user/(my name)/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar. I tried to fix it by going into minecraft.jar and deleting stuff that was added since I started to add this problem(mods). It is getting really annoying. Im having this problem for well over a year, soon i got tired of trying. But now im trying again and hope i'll find an answer.
