I have recently been having an issue with Minecraft. It has been causing my entire computer to shutdown after about 10-15 minutes of playing... it has only recently been doing this. Here are somethings that I have tried doing to fix this...
I for one highly doubt it has anything to do with my computer being "crap" because it isn't
I get 90-130 fps
I have 8 gigs of ram
I doubt it has anything to do with heating problems, because I can play other games, such as Terraria for hours on end with out it crashing or having heating problems.
I am running Minecraft completly vanilla, I also just got the snapshot to see if maybe it was just the current update, yet it still shuts my computer down.
I thought that it may be mc-patcher causing this along with having optifine, but I got rid of Mcpatcher, but once again the same problem occurs...
If you have any ideas why this is happening or even any suggestions on how to fix this problem, please leave a comment! I would highly appreciate it!
how does it shut down? bsod? or a normal shut down?
have you got anything monitoring hardware temps etc while playing so you can 100% rule that out?
It's just a normal shutdown, and I don't have any monitoring hardware, i was just using the in-game feature of the allocated memory, in which it is only using one gig of ram at 25-35%
