I haven't playing minecraft very long, so this may be a stupid question. I downloaded and logged into my minecraft account on my laptop. The world that I created when playing on my desktop are not there. On my laptop, it still lets me log in like everything is good, but makes me create a whole new world.
Am I doing something wrong, or are the worlds only connected to a certain computer? Love playing in the world I already have created, and not real excited about creating a new world just to play on my laptop when I am away from my desktop.
All of your worlds are stored on your own computer, it would take a lot of servers for mojang to store everyone's world.
To get to where they are stored click "Options" above "Login" on the minecraft launcher, then click the blue text next to "Game location on disk", then open the saves folder. You can transfer them from computer to computer, although it might be a hassle.

Thanks for the Help, I believe I will transfer all my saved data over to my external hard drive, then just pack it with me to where ever I want to play. That way It will always be with me. Again, thanks for the help.
