I have owned minecraft for about 2 week and have had two major issues already one of witch is still screwing me. First issue was "too many logins" I couldnt get on for a couple hours thanks to this and then out of nowhere it just lets me on again... Then today I was playing no problems, closed my minecraft to get some food, came back and tried to login and now its "Login failed" I would like to note that in both situations I have always and always will have the box checked remember password so NOTHING CHANGES when I log on and yet somehow I managed to have both problems in less than 2 weeks of owning minecraft!! Now I'm sitting here wondering if "Login Failed" will ever go away figued lets try and login to minecraft.net well guess what now it tells me my username or password is not correct?!!? WHAT IS GOING ON? I've tried allowing minecraft in my windows firewall witch didnt work and I didnt expect it to as I've been running minecraft before, my java is up to date! I checked mojang and everything is fine and up and running, I played the game in offline mode and checked my servers list and people are still playing blissfully while im sitting here screwed! I sent mojang a letter but they are still working on emails that are backed up from december REALLY?? Pretty sure it said they were backed up in emails on thier site about 6 months ago when I couldnt purchase the game! And I sent them a mail then and never got a reply so now I am stuck to hope I get a response in the next few months????!?! gahhh!!!!
Yea it just let me back on today after almost 10hrs of waiting :/ doesnt excuse this issue. Im not sure what my specs would have to do with the issue either this is obviously an issue with their login system witch is amazing as no other game I have ever played has ever had an issue with logging in.

World of Warcraft (Blizzard) has had this issue.
Rockstar has had this issue.
Steam has had this issue
Playstation Network has had this issue.
Basically any game with a online server has this issue. It's inevitable. You can always check the Status of the Servers.
Your system specs would tell me if your on windows 8, or xp, or Mac. These have been known to have similar issues, and assist me in determining if the issue is client side, or server side. It appears to be on your side, because i have been playing Minecraft all day, without issue.
